Follow this link to Gallup’s unemployment numbers. The government has changed its methodology, making it impossible to compare data from ayear ago with data produced now. Hmmmmmmm. Meaning, Obama didn’t like the results they were getting, so Obama had his branch of government change the nature of the survey. Every marketing guy on earth knows that trick.

In short, if you don’t like the answers, change the conversation.

Here is the Gallup link. Have a look. Unemployment is at 8.6 according to Gallup. But look at the under-employed, and those working part-time that want full-time. Uh huh. Let’s see what happens next month. Christmas workers have come and gone.

IN our neighborhood, we do sense an uptick. Throughout the holidays, it was hard to get a table at a good restaurant. Lots of our favorite places were rented out for big parties. Compared with the dead zone of 2009, there is clearly more hustle and bustle in shopping areas. One of our local shopping areas, a collection of shops in an open-air mall built in the Sixties, was devastated in 2009 and remained dead into 2010. It was scary-spooky quiet, with lots of empty shops. Now? Livelier. Movie theaters seem a bit busier. But I live in the bubble at the beach.

You drive through the Inland Empire of Southern California and it’s an alien planet, with things looking even worse than in 2009. We’ve taken numerous road trips this past year, and it just depends where you are. The good areas where you have concentrations of educated citizens are looking just fine. Once you cross out of those bubbles, woof, it’s looking pretty ugly still, people seem a bit desperate.

At Heritage Foundation, they sound almost panicky, worried that unemployment will drop enough that Obama can get himself reelected. I could not find the data broken down by regions and by demographics (age, race, gender). But in reading the Heritage piece, the implication is things are bad for whites, Latins, women and teenagers. So, has the McDonald’s campaign to hire more people sucked up a lot of unemployed black males? All we ever here is an endless plaint about the desperate situation for black males.

I’m willing to bet that Obama has changed the methodology to cover up the failure in the Midwest and regions that do not have concentrations of highly educated folks. The Republicans will have to work with Gallup and others to sift real unemployment data.

This election will boil down to a simple question: are you better off than you were four years ago? For most folks, the answer will still be no come November.

I’m so tired of listening to hicks caling up Limbaugh or whomever and complaining that Romney can’t debate, that Gingrich is really the guy.

Sorry, Newt is erratic, nasty, belligerent, and so utterly and totally governed by his blowhard ego that he can’t function like a decent member of the Republican fraternity.

Newt violates the Reagan Dictum: don’t beat up on fellow Republicans.

To the toothless of South Carolina and elsewhere, I ask you: would Ronald Reagan have been conservative enough for you? I watched interviews with moron preachers from Smokepole, South Carolina, and BBQ Pit owners from Shuckit, South Carolina. They sound like they want Jesus H. Christ to come down from heaven and run for president.

Well, ain’t gonna happen.

You want four more years of President Jive-Ass? And his bizarre Fascist viewpoint in which the government dictates what companies can do, which companies get tax credits, who can attend college? Really? That is called Fascism. Obama is operating it as a precursor to something even worse, in which most people work for the government. That is called Marxism. Remember, Fascism/Nazism and Communism are both to the LEFT, they are both forms of socialism. Hard-core socialism. And that is what Obama is pushing.

Obama is now dictating how universities should behave, who they should admit and how much they can charge for their services. That is Fascism.

So, you folks who would rather destroy everything and submit to another four years of rule under this Marxist/Fascist/Statist whatever he is of a president, you go right ahead. But the South shall not rise again and secede from the union. You want to indulge that crap, go ahead. Suffer. You will suffer. The main reason the South has remained economically buoyant? Lots of defense contracts awarded to evil Yankee companies who then have plants in your states. Really? You’re gonna give that up?

Romney needs to lay out who will be in his cabinet. He needs to put together a team around him, to show the competent guys he will bring to bear, to right the country. ANd he needs to articulate his tax policy, as that will have companies preparing to repatriate profits from their foreign operations. If those companies get another four years of Obama, that money will stay abroad, and be invested in growing other economies.

And guess what? You have another four years of President Jive-Ass, and you’ll start to see major corporations move their corporate headquarters to Mexico and Canada. Still within NAFTA, but free of Obama and his confiscatory tendencies.

Gingrich has blown it. He could have been an influential player in a Romney administration. Now he has thrown shit all over the walls and will not be invited.

Santorum is not ready for prime time. He should be a really great congressman from some white ethnic corner of Pennsylvania, with lots of Italian Catholics who will keep voting him in.

Ron Paul? I love him, and I hope Romney would let him toss the Federal Reserve. But his foreign policy is insane. His views on drugs are insane. Maybe he could be the surgeon general. I like him, but he’s a bit nutty on the role of the United States in the world.

Wake up, morons.

Obama is a master liar, and a master of manipulating data to suit an argument, even if he twists the data to make it seem like he’s telling the truth.

You want some info to ram up Obama’s backside?

GM is back on top in total global sales, yes. Why?

Umm, earthquake, Tsunami, Fukushima nuclear reactor meltdown, all disrupting production of Japanese cars.

Next, Most of GM’s growth has not been in the US, but in CHina. Uh huh.

In spite of all that worked against them, Toyota will still hold the crown for best-selling compact car, the Corolla. The Chevy Cruze? Not all bad, but it’s engine sounds like a Hoover Gone Wild. ANd the sales dropped off so quickly and so drastically that GM had to shut down production. What happened? All the retirees and friends and family of retirees who are given a special price bought their cars, and then the car died.

Another Obama lie? Chevies will be exported from America to drive in Korea. Give it up. Here’s the truth, and someone should shove this up Obama’s ass. GM bought Daewoo, a sickly Korean carmaker. Bought them some years ago. They tried to merge Daewoo with Suzuki, where GM had an interest. Didn’t work. Daewoo makes the Chevy Sonic, Chevy Aveo and several others. These are engineered, designed and built in KOREA, not America. Those cars are sold as Chevies in CHina and East Asia. They are Chevies in badge only. So Obama, please feel free to shove that up your skinny black ass.

Also, Obama does not mention that he robbed the rightful owners of GM, the bond holders.

Obama also lies when he omits the fact that the GM IPO was a closed auction, and only the rich friends of JP MOrgan clients were allowed to buy. In short, it was theft, washed clean under the guise of an IPO. NO normal citizen of America was allowed to participate in the IPO. Therefore, it was theft, a handout to the criminal bankers who support Obama. Yes, that’s what I said. Obama is obviously someone’s puppet.

Next on the hit parade for us here at Concord Bridge? Natural gas. We know enough NYC commie pinkos to know they agree with us in the Tea Party who know energy: natural gas is a great way to go. However, Obama is lying. He will spike natural gas production just like he spiked the oil pipeline from Canada. Why? Because his environmental Nazi allies do not want fracking. They will NOT allow energy companies to frack to extract the natural gas. So, Obama is lying.

Also, Obama is merely picking up an argument that was made by our brothers at We The People: Natural gas is already used widely in trasportation. It’s used in buses, and delivery trucks. Fine. But it CAN ONLY BE USED on vehicles that are stored, fueled and used outside. YOU CANNOT park them in parking garages where the gas vents and is trapped. It will BLOW UP. You cannot have millions of passenger cars running on this stuff because the chance of explosions at home or in parking garages is too high.

Natural gas is good for:

Buses, taxis, delivery trucks.

Burn it to generate electricity, and you can pipe it to small plants close to city centers, so you loose the minimum amount of energy burning up wires.

That electricity can then be used to power electric cars, which are for now a novelty item, but progress is being made.

You can browse some of our older articles on the topic. Oddly enough, Obama’s henchmen were probably viewing it, too. Too bad our candidates don’t seem smart enough to do so.

Finally for tonight, the easiest point on whcih to attack the Liar-in-Chief. Obama thinks the government should control everything. He is clearly stating that the government should control even entrepreneurs.

Think about it. Silicon Valley is stocked full of the smartest guys from Stanford and Berkeley, and smart guys from Europe, India, China, Japan, Korea, and elsewhere. They come there because the Venture Capitalists on Sand Hill Boulevard know how to start up companies. Why do you think the Bay area is booming while the rest of the country is sucking wind? Uh huh. Because Silicon Valley is pure capitalism.

Obama wants to dollop out federal cash and tax breaks to people who do what he wants. That is Fascism. That’s what Hitler did. That’s what Marxists in China are doing. Yeah, it can work well, but you had better be connected to the ruling class or you are toast.

Obama is some bizarre blend of Fascist and Marxist. This is the biggest weakness he has.

Problem is? Nearly half the people in this country have decided it’s better to be a worthless piece of shit who sponges off the government.

The biggest offender is Newt Gingrich, who is behaving like the egomaniac he always has been. Newt, shut your pie hole when it comes to senseless attacks.

We received a message from a follower, asking why we had not posted. Well, we went back to our original site, www.wethepeople.org. We set up that site days after the 2008 election, and were tagged by Nappy Jan Napolitano and the Homeland Security folks not long after. They wanted to make sure returning servicemen didn’t cause trouble, remember?

We shut down We The People for about a year. Several of our original band filtered off. We thought about what to do, then started this site. But with the election coming, and Obama clearly not willing to listen to our voices, expressed so clearly in November, 2010, we decide to raise the old pirate submarine and get back to work.

We’re thankful that in the first few weeks nearly 9,000 returned. Cool.

We also figured that if we had something like real names here, instead of Mr Black, Mr Slate, Mr Red, Mr White and the inimitable Mr Blonde, we might get more action as commentators. But no. Go through our site and you might find some of the ideas for another TV goon. Postings on Hayek, and explorations of the founding fathers. On wethepeople.org you’ll find one of our original pages was “Wisdom of Our Fathers.” Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

Anyway, all we want is to get this rotten president out of office, replaced with someone who is not a pandering politician and who will actually lead the nation properly. We stand firmly behind the idea that we should all join the Republican Party and force it to change, to follow our lead. Most of us here have done that. In fact, one of us is on a state committee for the Republicans now. So we are taking the fight inside the party, to make it serve us.
