The rent-a-mob nonsense in Wisconsin really turns my stomach. Here is the press conference held by Ronald Reagan announcing that the air traffic controllers were to be fired. Teachers unions are the source of our shoddy education system. Though I greatly respect the work of firemen and police, they are overpaid in some states, and certainly given benefits and pensions beyond the merit of their work. Prison guards in California are wagging the dog, dictating to the rest of the population. Sames goes for city, county, and state workers. Though we respect the work of these folks, they are also walking, talking taxes. They do not generate wealth, they do not generate economic activity that can be taxed to pay. Cops, firemen, teachers, and the like are OVERHEAD. The rest of us, particularly independents like me and our tech guru, Norberto Tomas, have taken it in the shorts the past few years. To hear these people whine and complain about how the rest of us should pay for their cozy lives is nonsense. Time for a rude awakening.
As for President Obama’s support of these people, well, Obama, you know what we think of you. You need to be impeached. You need to be fired.
