I saw the movie Restrepo some time ago in a theater. it’s gone now, but you should make the effort to see it if you have not. A fine bunch of young men. But the conclusion shows the cynicism of the Obama strategy in Afghanistan. We lost men taking this outpost, from which we could engage the Taliban, and then withdrew. Why? If we will only take half-measures, then get our men out. If we go, we go to fight and win, so the sacrifice has some meaning.
Our responsibility is to ensure the next Congress and the next batch of crooked senators understands that we want our service men and women properly supported, with a defined mission. They will have whatever they need to fight the battle. If not, we’ll bring them home. But we will NOT create chaos in the world, or a vacuum that could leave us exposed.
It’s also our responsibility to remove this Marxist president and his posse of miscreants, along with constitutional criminals like Pelosi, Reid and the Republican collaborators like Lindsey Graham. It’s our responsibility to create a United States that welcomes these service men and women home, offers them opportunity and a safe place to live the rest of their lives in peace, with opportunity for work and a chance at prosperity.
If we fail, shame on us. The Democrat Marxists all need to go. A choice few among the Republicans need a warm bath in a bucket of tar. The day of battle is approaching. Talk to your neighbors. Persuade them if they do not understand the harm being done to our nation. Volunteer your time to make sure every old lady your know has a safe way of reaching the polls. Make sure everyone you know is prepared and ready to hit the polls in November, and vote. If there’s a true conservative on your ballot, vote for him or her. If you’re stuck with some jerk Republican who’s wishy-washy,well, better than the Marxists.
After the election, it’s up to us to KEEP the pressure on these vermin politicians, and make sure they know there is hell to pay if they fail in the business of the American people.
